Fostering a sense of community for our neighborhood

Founded in 1965 by a group of dedicated women, the SFWWL was established to enhance our beautiful parks and cultivate a vibrant sense of community.

The League hosts a variety of social and fundraising events throughout the year, including those that support the maintenance of Terrace Green Park, enhancing our shared experience of living in this exceptional community.

The success of the SFWWL is made possible by the generous support of our dedicated board members, neighbors, and local businesses. We extend our sincere gratitude to our board, underwriters, and the many volunteers who contribute their time and talents.

While not everyone may have the capacity to serve on board, there are numerous ways to contribute. We encourage you to participate in ways that are personally meaningful, whether by sharing ideas, assisting at events, or offering your unique expertise.

Together, we can continue to strengthen the bonds that make St. Francis Wood such a special place to live!

The board operates on a volunteer basis, and we need volunteers from our wonderful community to continue projects, programs, and events that make The Wood so special. We need 2-4 volunteers this year to join us. If you are interested, please email sfwwlboard@sfwwl.com
